If you change your Instagram password we lose access straight away, and growth activity stops until we’re able to log back in.
You don’t need to tell us. Our system picks it up automatically, your account status changes to Needs Re-login, and you’ll get an email with instructions.
Here’s what to do:
Update your login info. Head to your account area and submit your new password. Double-check the username and password fields before you hit submit, accuracy is key.
Add a fresh backup code. Instagram usually asks for one after a password change, so send a new code along with the password.
Once we’re back in, your status returns to Running and you’ll get a confirmation email so you know activity has resumed.
Your subscription and billing carry on as normal throughout. Changing your password doesn’t cancel anything, and your account’s security is always our top priority.
